Peggy Noonan: Americans concerned about our culture

Today’s column in the Wall Street Journal is well worth reading, as Peggy Noonan gets at the center of what is so unsettling about life in America today: “Is there something called the American Character, and do you think it has, the past half-century, improved or degenerated?” http://online.wsj.com/article/declarations.html.

Without knowing it, Noonan makes the case for the work of the Institute for Cultural Influence: “Americans are worried about the core and character of the American nation, and about our culture.”

I hope you all enjoy family, friends and the celebration of Christ this week. I hope you will also reflect on how God wants to use you in 2010 and beyond to restore and reform American culture.
