Scott Brown wins; journalist wife raises ethical issues

ScottBrown

Scott Brown stunned the world last night with his upset victory to become a Senator in the state of Massachusetts. What few people realize is that his wife, a prominent TV anchor in Boston, was unable to campaign with him because of her job. Her TV station employer, due to journalistic ethics, did not want her to appear biased, so she was not only not allowed to cover the race, she was not allowed to appear at campaign events until last night, after the voting was completed. Does that seem like taking journalistic ethics too far?
